This December/January Umbrella presents three fantastic latest DVD releases the highly successful Cosmic Psychos: Blokes You Can Trust, the real life drama Little Red Wagon and indie favorite Foxfire.

First up is the wildly successful Cosmic Psychos: Blokes You Can Trust. Cosmic Psychos: Blokes You Can Trust DVD release follows a sold out session at MIFF, a popular national theatrical season and sold out music tour in August and September and if that wasn’t enough they are part of the line up for the upcoming 2014 Big Day Out! What is it about you ask? This fantastically reviewed documentary charts the rise of one Australia’s most unlikely rock and roll bands and has been described as “one of the best rock docos of the past decade” Matt Coyte Rolling Stone Australia. It also features interviews with music legends: Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Mudhoney, Melvins, Butch Vig, Hard-Ons, L7  (Steve Albini, Donita Sparks) and many more! Cosmic Psychos: Blokes You Can Trust also has some seriously good special features including: extended scenes featuring Eddie Vedder, Knighty’s Farm Gig, Cooking with the Psychos and much more!

Next Umbrella latest DVD release is Little Red Wagon. Little Red Wagon is based on the inspirational true story of eight-year-old Zach Bonner who decides to help victims of Hurricane Charley by using his toy wagon to collect water, food and clothing. A sweetly up lifting tale with an all star cast including Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), Frances O’ Conner (Mr Selfridge), Daveigh Chase (Big Love) this film will leave you wanting more.

Lastly following a wildly successful screening at the Melbourne International Film Festival including sold out sessions Umbrella is proud to present latest DVD release Foxfire. Foxfire is based on a novel by Joyce Carol Oates and directed by Laurent Cantet, winner of the Palme d’Or in 2008 for his film The Class. Foxfire is set in the 1950s upstate New York and focuses on an unassuming girl named Maddy who joins a girl gang Foxfire exposing her to a thrilling and dangerous world. Starring Ali Liebert (Bomb Girls), Raven Adamson (Kid’s Town), Katie Coseni, Madeleine Bisson (Cracked) Foxfire is sure to have you enraptured and shocked in equal parts.
